Navigating the Way

Navigating the NDIS, My Aged Care, health systems, and major life decisions can quickly become complex and overwhelming, particularly when you are also managing disability, ageing, cognitive change, illness, or emotional stress. I provide independent advocacy and practical support to help individuals and families understand their options, navigate systems, and make informed decisions with confidence.
My role is to support you to:
  • understand processes and services such as NDIS and My Aged Care
  • prepare for meetings, assessments, and decision points
  • communicate your needs and preferences clearly
  • ensure your rights, choices, and goals are respected
  • reduce confusion and support informed decision-making
Support is available whether you are planning ahead, responding to a crisis, or trying to resolve a difficult situation. You do not have to navigate it alone.

Who I Support & How I Can Help

I support individuals, families, and carers who are navigating complex health, disability, ageing, or care-related systems and decisions.

This includes situations where:

  • the NDIS or My Aged Care process feels confusing or overwhelming

  • there are concerns about capacity, decision-making, or vulnerability

  • families are struggling to agree on care or support decisions

  • someone is preparing for assessments, reviews, or planning meetings

  • hospital discharge planning is unclear or unsupported

  • people feel their needs, rights, or preferences are not being heard

  • urgent decisions need to be made and support is needed to understand options

Support may include:

  • explaining systems and processes in plain language

  • attending meetings or assessments as an advocate

  • helping prepare questions, documents, and goals

  • supporting communication between families and services

  • assisting with decision-making clarity and next steps

  • ensuring rights, choices, and preferences are central to planning

Core Values

1. I say it as it is

I believe in honest, open conversations- even when they’re hard. Speaking truthfully helps cut through confusion and create real understanding.

2. No surprises

You’ll always know where things stand. I keep things clear, upfront, and shared in a way that makes sense.

3. Walking beside you

I walk beside you- I don’t take over. My role is to back you up, support your goals, and make sure your voice is heard and respected every step of the way.

4. Heart first

Compassion sits at the centre of my work. I meet people where they are, take time to understand what matters to them, and support their values and wishes with respect and empathy.

5. Built on trust

Trust sits at the heart of every connection. I take care to earn it, keep it, and honour it in all I do.

6. Do what's right, not what's easy

Integrity guides every decision I make. I’m committed to acting with honesty and fairness, even when it takes courage or uncomfortable choices.
